James is a good player no one is doubting that! He's just not a great one yet!

How so? Thats a ridiculous type of comparison. Scottie didn't have scoring titles, All-Defensive team spots, or MVPs like Kobe. He wasn't even a leader of a successful team. Kobe has been. Heck, Horry has more than Pippen or Jordan if you want to make a worse comparison than that.

The difference is, Kobe is elite. Lebron is below that level at this point.

Pippen was named as one of the 50 best players of all time. He's no slouch.

Don't think Im am calling Lebron a slouch. He's a very good player. Kobe is better though.

Pippen is one of the top 5 players of his time, the year Jordan retired Pippen was near the top of the league in scoring or lead it, and when Jordan was there Pippen usually guarded the other teams best player. He was one of the best on the ball defenders ever, and he could handle the ball really well too.

I think I could live, having 3 rings as the go-to guy or not.

Without Pippen, how many did Jordan win?
